Alparslan Buyuk Selcuklu Episode 23 Summary
In Alparslan Buyuk Selcuklu Episode 23, While Alparslan is placing his war materials in the tunnels with his friends, Kekaumenos arrives. While Alpagu is trying to warn Alparslan, Diogenes explodes the entrance of the tunnel. Alparslan regains consciousness after a short while and tries to help his friends. Suleiman says he injured his foot. Alparslan asks Alpagu to calm down the Lord and starts looking for a way out. Rati says he wants to attack the Turks in Merv, but Diogenes stops him. Diogenes says he has another plan, but Rati attacks him. Kekaumenos continues to hallucinate and talks about Herve. Diogenes manages to stop Rati and returns to the castle with him. Akca tells Akinay that she feels worried and asks her for help. Akinay tells her about an incident that happened to her years ago.
Akinay then tells Akca to make a necklace to make her feel better. Meanwhile, the children of the tribe come to Akinay’s tent and get paint from her. Caghri is happy about the arrival of spring and says that Alparslan will get married soon. Alparslan finds an air hole in the tunnel and says that he can get out in this way. Alps ask Alparslan not to do this, but cannot stop him. Alparslan enters the hole in the tunnel alone and starts looking for a way out. There is a jolt in the tunnel and everyone is starting to get more and more worried. Rati goes to the church in the village with Diogenes and catches the priest who helps the Turks. Kekaumenos begins to follow Alparslan. Alparslan finally goes out and tries to help his friends. Rati wants to kill the priest, but Diogenes stops him. Evdokya worries about her uncle and asks Diogenes where he is. Diogenes calms the princess and tells her that the soldiers are looking for him. Rati takes the priest to a dungeon full of rats and tells him that he will die from the plague soon. The lord slowly comes to himself. Dukas opens his eyes and sees Yinal. The Sultan and his family prepare to go to the tribe. The lord says he can no longer go to the castle and the agreement is no longer valid. Alparslan makes a plan to get rid of the Liparit brothers and asks the Lord to go to the castle. Rati tells Ivan that he killed the Lord and asks him to marry Evdokya. Evdokya hears this conversation and immediately takes action to escape from the castle. Diogenes says he will take the Lord’s seat and help Rati.
Rati says he ants Ani and Vaspurakan. Meanwhile, Rati’s soldiers capture Evdokya and bring her back to the castle. While Diogenes tries to calm Rati, the Lord comes to the castle. Rati and Diogenes begin to ask Kekaumenos questions. Lord calms everyone down and says he wants to talk to them. Selcan tells Akca that she wants to talk about the wedding soon. Akca asks Akinay to be her mother and goes to talk to Hassan. Doctors say Suleiman’s foot will heal soon. Alparslan goes to his mother’s grave and starts talking about recent events. Hassan gladly accepts Akca’s offer and says that he sees her as his daughter. Diogenes says he knows that the Lord is working with the Turks. Lord calms down Diogenes and says he will allow him to marry Evdokya. Diogenes is very surprised at this offer but accepts it to get a better rank. Meanwhile, Ivan comes to the throne room and says he wants to marry Evdokya.
Diogenes tells Rati that he will give him Vaspurakan to calm him down. Alparslan tells all his family what happened to him and says that the agreement is no longer valid. Evdokya is angry at her uncle’s actions, but the Lord says he knows everything. Diogenes obeys the Lord’s order and tells him that the wedding will take place before sunset. Yinal says that Dukas will recover soon and tells him about Evdokya’s wedding. Dukas realizes Diogenes’ plan and asks Yinal to kidnap the princess. Yinal accepts this offer to get closer to Kaiser. Caghri talks to Hassan and tells him that Alparslan wants to marry Akca. First Akca and then Hassan accept this offer. Hassan asks Alparslan not to upset Akca and prays for them. Ferzat’s soldiers stop the car going to the castle and take the place of the archbishop.
Ferzat’s man goes to the castle like a priest and says that the archbishop cannot come because he is sick. Alpagu puts sleeping pills in all the drinking barrels in the castle. Nestor takes the priest to Evdokya’s room. The priest says that the archbishop cannot come to the wedding, but that he has sent a gift for Evdokya. The priest suddenly attacks Nestor and puts Evdokya in the chest in the room. Diogenes wonders where Evdokya is and goes to her room. Diogenes calls a doctor for Nestor’s wound and sets out with his soldiers to capture Evdokya. Ferzat’s man goes to the headquarters with Evdokya. Diogenes thinks that the Turks did this job. Akca gives her the necklace she made for Alparslan that night. Diogenes gets very angry and thinks that Rati kidnapped Evdokya. Rati says he has not done such a thing.
Lord says he will find Evdokya tomorrow and begins to tell Diogenes about the deal he made with Alparslan. Alparslan talks to his friends and says that they will go to the castle at sunrise. Dukas calls Evdokya and starts talking to her. Evdokya is very surprised that the General is alive. General proposes marriage to Evdokya to stop Diogenes. The women and children of the tribe are prepared to go to the grassland. Alparslan looks at the Byzantine soldiers on the walls and looks for a way to get inside. Rati and Ivan wait for the right time to attack the Turkish caravan going to the plateau. While the Turks are resting in the forest, Byzantine soldiers attack. Rati severely injures Akninay. Alparslan enters the castle and says he will call Kamar. Alparslan sneaks into the dungeon and finds Kamar’s lifeless body there. Diogenes locks Alparslan in the dungeon and asks him where Evdokya is. Alparslan says he knows nothing, but cannot convince him.
