Destan Episode 15 Review
In Destan Episode 16, Temur goes to the palace and says he will tell all the facts to his father. Kaya stops his brother and tells him that he is a traitor helping Batuga. Khan believes what Kaya said and orders Temur to be imprisoned in his room. Kaya says he is not a traitor, but the soldiers take him away. Balamir’s soldiers attack the Dag. Akkiz and Colpan try to defend the tribe. Batuga asks Balamir to stop the attack but is unable to persuade him. Akkiz comes to the tent and cuts Balamir’s neck lightly. Akkiz says that Balamir is now infected with smallpox and he will never be able to leave this place. Balamir comes out of the tent and orders his soldiers to stop. Batuga is very impressed by Akkiz’s actions and begins to love her more and more.
Saltuk says that smallpox is spreading more and more and mentions that this epidemic appeared years ago. Batuga learns that Temur has been arrested and starts looking for a way to save him. Ece wants to enter Temur’s room to talk to him, but the soldiers stop her. Mei worries about what happened to Temur and starts making a plan to prevent him from dying. Kaya argues with his mother and says that he did everything to seize the throne. Kaya then goes to talk to Temur. Temur says he does not see Kaya as his brother. Batuga says he will send another message to the palace to save Temur. After reading Batuga’s message, Khan begins to suspect everyone in the palace. Alpagu then calls everyone in the palace to the throne room and starts asking them questions. Although Khan asks questions, he cannot find out who is helping Batuga.
Khan dismisses some men and says that no one can do business secretly in the palace anymore. Alpagu then goes to Temur’s room and asks him if he helped Batuga. Temur says he doesn’t know who left the message on the throne, but he helped Batuga before. Kun Ata says that no one will leave the tribe and that he is trying to make a medicine to eradicate this disease. Akkiz says that one of the slaves from the palace brought this disease. Batuga questions this girl and learns that everything was done by Yibek. Yibek’s daughter finds a secret message in one of the corridors of the palace. Yibek takes this message to Ece. Ece realizes that this message came from Batuga and that she learned the truth about smallpox. Ece reads the other messages and gets very scared.

The Chinese monk finds another message and learns that he has to kidnap Temur. Ece then goes to the throne room and begs Khan to see Temur. Ece talks to Temur and plays with his feelings. Temur only says Batuga is right. Ece realizes that she cannot convince Temur and asks Vargi to find another way. Smallpox spreads and people in the tribe continue to die. Tutkun worries about Temur’s life and starts to cry. As Colpan prepares to go to the palace for the council, Batuga stops her and tells her that the tribe is in quarantine. Colpan accepts Batuga’s order. Khan finds another message on his throne that night. Khan reads Batuga’s message and realizes that he will learn about the traitors in the palace in exchange for Temur’s freedom. Kun Ata remembers that this disease appeared once many years ago.
After what Kun Ata said, Batuga comes up with a plan and finds a way to stop the disease. Alpagu goes to Temur’s room and says that no one will know about his treachery. Kaya secretly informs the tribal leaders who will come to the palace about Temur’s betrayal. A short time later, tribal leaders arrive at the palace and tell Khan that a council should be formed to better govern the country. Alpagu says that Colpan could not come to the palace because of smallpox. A leader says he still wants a council and that Temur is a traitor. Alpagu says he has served his country and people for years. Alpagu says that everyone who wants a council to be established is a traitor and kills almost all the leaders who come to the palace. Alpagu asks Temur to go to Dag immediately and talk to Batuga.
Colpan gives Tilsim’s items to Batuga. Batuga asks Akkiz to wear Tilsim’s dress. Batuga then talks to Kun Ata and cuts off his hand for contracting smallpox. Akkiz puts on Tilsim’s dress and says she will cut off her hand to catch the disease. Yula comes to Dag after what happened in the palace and tells Colpan that Khan killed the tribal leaders. Balamir says Batuga’s plan was wrong from the very beginning. Batuga feels responsible for the dead and says he will kill Khan in front of the throne no matter what. Alpagu asks Kaya to go to the western khanate. Kaya tells that there may be a riot soon, but Khan asks him to calm down. Gunseli says she will not go with Kaya and stays in the palace. Colpan sets off with Balamir the next day and says she is going to the funeral.
The leader of the Sabars comes to the palace and says that the claw attacked on the way. Alpagu says he will compensate Mancu and asks him if he wants to marry Kircicek. Mancu agrees to marry Kircicek. Alpagu orders Calayir to go to Sabar tribe with Kircicek. Temur goes to Dag and asks Tutkun to be careful. Temur then talks to Batuga and tells him that Khan has accepted the deal. Batuga asks Temur to choose his side. Gunseli is the one who put the secret messages on Alpagu’s throne, and she puts another arrow at Batuga’s request. Alpagu reads this new message and learns that he has to go to the Dag to talk to Batuga. Kaya goes to the western khanate but sees that all the soldiers there are dead. Colpan says that they took over the western khanate after what Alpagu did. Kircicek escapes from Mancu and goes to Dag. Mancu secretly follows her and tells Akkiz that her mother is still alive.
