Kurulus Osman Episode 2 Review
Kurulus Osman Episode 2 starts, with the death of Tekfur, panic prevails in the castle. Osman asks Christian women what they do there and he thinks they killed Tekfur. Women and the priest take the relics and treasure from the room. And they turn out to be Muslims. Sofia is angry with Tekfur’s commanders for failing to protect him. Helen comes and tells them that Osman, son of Ertugrul, was leaving Tekfur’s room. The soldiers come and fight in the room where Osman is, but Osman defeats them and runs away from the roof. Sofia comes back to her room and sees the treasure taken with the sacred relics. Sofia tells Helen to report to Efendi Yannis and holds Osman responsible for the incident. Osman and his Alps talk about the death of Tekfur in a warehouse.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 2, The commander and Sofia make a treacherous plan, according to which they will kidnap one of Osman’s relatives so Osman will come out. Dundar Bey and Gunduz Bey talk about Osman because he is still absent. Dundar Bey’s wife advises him to write a letter so that Ertugrul Bey will be aware of what is happening. At the same time, Bamsi Bey comes and asks about Osman but he cannot get an answer. Dundar Bey does not want to write a letter because he does not want Ertugrul Bey to learn about this. Efendi Yannis reads the Quran in his cave and learns that Tekfur is dead. He also gets mad when he learns that Osman has taken the treasure and the sacred relics. He decides to go to the castle. Women will leave the castle in the morning. All the people of the castle learn that Osman killed Tekfur. Osman secretly goes to church to talk with the priest. Osman asks the priest about the woman, but the priest tells him that the woman lives somewhere outside the city.
The commander’s troops are rapidly approaching the plain. Aygul and Burcin wash clothes. Aygul talks to Burcin to calm her down, but Burcin’s anger at Osman is enormous. Burcin Hatun gets angry with Aygul and she walks away. Aygul follows her alone, while the commander’s soldiers attack them. They kidnap Aygul and leave Burcin there. Dundar Bey calls all the Beys to discuss the agreement with Byzantium. Some Beys oppose this, but Dundar Bey is determined to do so. Alisar Bey, the Border Bey, comes and wants to talk to Dundar Bey, saying that the agreement was made without his knowledge. Suddenly, Burcin arrives and tells Dundar Bey that the commander’s soldiers have kidnapped Aygul. Dundar Bey asks them why they do it and Burcin tells them that Osman killed Tekfur. Dundar Bey, Bamsi Bey, Gunduz Bey, and Samsa Bey set out for the castle. If Osman does not leave his hiding place, Aygul will be executed in the middle of the castle. But Aygul shouts to Osman to not appear and the Alps hold Osman.
Dundar Bey and the other Beys came to the castle, but a Byzantine soldier bumps Bamsi Bey in Kurulus Osman Episode 2. Dundar Bey comes across Sofia with all his anger and asks his daughter. The commander tells them that Osman killed Tekfur, but Dundar Bey denies it. Sofia wants Osman to prove if he is innocent. Meanwhile, Osman enters the salon and pulls his sword. Sofia says that Osman will be tried by a fair court, including the Qadis and even the Beys. Bamsi Bey accepts this offer. Dundar Bey and others cannot make sense of it, but they accept the decision of Bamsi Bey. The commander’s soldiers took Osman and they took him to the dungeon. Osman’s Alps are preparing something for him in the blacksmiths. The commander came to the dungeon to question Osman, but Osman asked him if he had killed Tekfur. And he even rationally supports this claim. Although Osman had no reason to kill the Tekfur, the Commander blames him and leaves the dungeon. Sofia tells Helen that Osman will escape from the dungeon because she knows that Osman is not alone in the castle. Sofia asks Helen to summon Theokles because she plans to follow Osman and find the treasure after he escapes from the dungeon.
In the castle’s kitchen, pork soup is cooked as Osman’s last meal, but his Alps secretly put a key in the soup. Dundar Bey goes back to the plain and talks to Bamsi Bey. Bamsi tells him that Osman was the soldier who bumped him at the castle and that Osman had a plan. Dundar Bey’s son Batur is angry with Osman for what is happening and he blames him but he cannot change Dundar Bey’s decision. Osman finds the key in the soup that comes to him and secretly unchains his chains. He escapes his dungeon by defeating the guards, but Theokles has already begun to follow him. The commander comes to the dungeon and learns that Osman has escaped. He also suspects that Helen was the last person to come to the dungeon. Osman and the Alps talk about what to do in the forest. Meanwhile, Konur Alp comes to see them and he brings with him the drawings and plans of the castle.
An Alp of Osman comes to say that Osman came out of the castle. Efendi Yannis comes to the castle. The war starts between Theokles and Osman. Osman catches Theokles and makes him talk. So he finds out that Princess Sofia has sent them after him and takes Theokles as a prisoner. Efendi Yannis instructs his soldiers to bring Osman, but Osman has already escaped from the castle in Kurulus Osman Episode 2. Sofia and Helen go to see Efendi Yannis, but the commander sees them on the way and follows them. As Osman and his Alps move through the forest, a group of people stops them. Among them was the woman who saved Osman. The woman tells him that if he wants to know the answers to these secrets, he should come with her alone and go away together. Sofia apologizes to Efendi Yannis and accepts all kinds of punishment.
The commander enters the room and he cannot make sense of what happened. He orders those soldiers to arrest Sofia and those around him, but the soldiers betray him. Osman and the woman enter a secret house through the bazaar. A man is waiting in a secret room inside the house. Osman approaches the man and asks him who he is. The man says his name is Edebali and Osman is surprised. Because this man is a friend of his father and Osman has not seen him before. Osman also asks who the woman is and Edebali tells him that the woman is his daughter Bala Hatun. Osman tells him that he thinks they are in Kirsehir and asks what they are doing here. Edebali tells him that they came here to light the resurrection fire and asks Osman if he wants to be with them. Osman accepts this with one condition and this condition is to know all the secrets.
