Kurulus Osman Episode 40 Review
In Kurulus Osman Episode 40, Nikola returns to his castle angrily because his trap doesn’t work and he says he will find new soldiers. Osman goes to his father Ertugrul’s grave and prays for him. Meanwhile, two merchantmen come to Ertugrul’s grave. One of the merchants says that Ertugrul rescued him from the Byzantine soldiers a long time ago and therefore wants to thank him. When the merchant Malik sees Ertugrul’s son Osman, he is surprised and hugs him. Savci talks to his wife about the upcoming elections. Boran and Goktug try to convince Beys on the plain to vote for Osman, but the Beys do not listen to them. Dundar secretly gives gold to the Beys on the plain to be selected as the new Bey. Hazal is very happy about what Dundar has done.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 40, When Osman comes to the plain, he learns that Dundar has given gold to the three Beys. Cerkutay comes to the plain and says he wants to help Osman. The merchants then go to the inn in Sogut and meet with potter Idris there. These merchants are actually Catholic spies, and they talk about Ertugrul’s plans. The spies think Bamsi has taken Ertugrul’s plans. Meanwhile, Bamsi prepares in a secret place to give Ertugrul’s plans to the new Bey. Dundar speaks to Savci before the election and says the Beys will support him. Bamsi goes to Ertugrul’s tent and starts the meeting. Bamsi first prays for Ertugrul and names the candidates who want to become the new Bey. Bamsi continues to speak and tells about Ertugrul’s achievements.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 40, Then Dundar speaks and tells him that he cannot decide who among the three siblings to vote. Dundar votes for him and says he wants to be the Bey. Hazal wanders around the plain and says that Osman will lose the election. Aygul cannot take Hazal’s words any longer and attacks her. Bala and Selcan stop Aygul at the last minute. When it is Gunduz’s turn to speak, he says he will not be a candidate and votes for Osman. Some Beys vote for Dundar. It is Osman’s turn to speak, and Osman says he will conquer more land. Osman votes for him, but the Beys continue to vote for Dundar. Savci realizes that the new Bey cannot be elected. Bamsi votes for Osman. In this situation, Dundar and Osman get the same number of votes and everything depends on the vote of Savci. Savci tells that Osman had treated him badly until this time and that Dundar had lied.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 40, Savci says that Dundar betrayed their alliance. Bamsi calms everyone. Savci prefers Osman and votes for his brother. Bamsi declares Osman as the new Bey. After this statement, Dundar tries to get out of the tent, but Osman stops him. Osman does not accept the result of this election and says that some votes have been bought. Osman says a fair election must be held and asks Bamsi to hold the vote again. Bamsi starts the voting again, and Osman is elected by the majority of the vote. Osman first dismisses Dundar and then Savci. While all the people of Kayi are eagerly awaiting the result of the election, Abdurrahman leaves the tent and announces to everyone that Osman has been elected as the new Bey. Everyone is very happy with this news. Flatyos learns that Osman won and says he will kill all the Turks.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 41, Abdurrahman gives the secret written will of Ertugrul to Bamsi. The spy Petros visits Nikola and shows him the order he received from the Pope. The Pope says that he wanted Osman to die as soon as possible and the Turks never to unite. Nikola does not want to work with the Catholics first, but changes his mind when he learns that Flatyos will be set free. That night, celebrations begin in the Kayi plain. All Turks congratulate Osman as their Bey and pray for him. Bamsi, in turn, gives Osman a Koran, Ertugrul’s swords, and a Kayi flag. Osman gives a speech in front of his father’s tent. Osman says it is time to unite and establish a state.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 41, After Osman’s speech, Edebali’s students come and everyone starts to pray together. Dundar is very angry with Savci voting for Osman and argues with Hazal. Bala congratulations to Osman. Osman asks Bala to be careful about the women in the plain and to listen to Selcan’s advice. Targun and her father Inal arrive shortly after. Inal congratulates Osman and thanks him for saving him. Inal later says he heard that Osman wanted to marry Targun. Osman says he wants to talk about this later, but when Targun says she wants to be a Muslim, Osman changes his decision and says that the wedding will be held soon. Bala is disturbed by this situation, but Osman leaves the tent to talk to the Alps. Savci goes to Dundar’s tent and argues with him. Savci is very angry with what Dundar has done and blames him. Dundar, once again, tells Savci that they have to work together, but Savci does not accept his offer.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 41, Selcan starts talking to Bala and gives her lots of advice. Inal plans to attack Byzantium and ally with the Kayi because of what happened. Targun once again says that she wants to marry Osman and Inal wants to get closer to Osman by using this marriage. Osman sits down in his father’s seat and remembers having talked to him before. When Savci returns to his tent, Lena starts talking to him about voting. Savci says that he voted for Osman because of what Dundar has done, and Lena is very angry. Meanwhile, Savci’s son Bayhoca comes. Osman makes Goktug the head of the Alp and orders Flatyos to be executed the next day. Idris secretly helps Flatyos escape. Nikola learns that Osman has been elected as the new Bey. Petros says he wants to make trouble on the plain using Dundar. Osman asks Bamsi where they will go first. Bamsi says that he will give Ertugrul’s secrets to Osman, and they set out together.
