Destan Episode 11 Review

In Destan Episode 12, Temur breaks the lock of the cage and goes inside to save his brother. Saltuk tells that they have to cut Batuga’s arm to save him. Akkiz objects to him. Ece thinks Temur will die, but Vargi knocks her out. Vargi then goes to Tai’s tent and takes the key from him. Vargi throws the key at Temur and runs away. Alpagu arranges a funeral for the soldiers killed by Balamir and orders their burial. Alpagu then orders Kaya’s spies to find Batuga as soon as possible. Batuga opens his eyes and realizes that he is in a cave. Batuga tries to remember how he got to this cave and talks to Akkiz. Akkiz says she doesn’t remember anything. Meanwhile, Temur and Saltuk return to the cave.

Temur realizes that Batuga can actually speak. Temur gets very angry with his brother and slaps him many times. Temur asks Batuga why he lied and says he doesn’t trust him anymore. Saltuk is happy to learn that Batuga is normal. When Ece returns to the palace, she asks if Batuga is dead. Vargi tells her that their plan did not work. Batuga and Saltuk talk about recent events. Temur returns to the cave and starts asking Batuga questions. Batuga says he did everything to protect his brother. Temur says he prefers to die instead of living this lie and leaves the cave again. Batuga begins to practice swordsmanship, which he learned from Temur when he was little. In the morning, Akkiz starts to train with Batuga. After the fire, Tai establishes a new headquarters in another part of the forest.

Tai begins to torture Yaman and Sirma, but cannot learn anything from them. Uzdu meets with Balamir and tells him that Alpagu will choose a new Yabgu. Meanwhile, Saltuk comes to Dag and asks Kun Ata for help. Vargi secretly begins to follow Saltuk. Tribal leaders come to Alpagu’s meeting. Alpagu shows everyone the throne that Balamir has broken and says that he will declare Kaya the new Yabgu. Uzdu says that Kaya is inexperienced. Kaya says that Uzdu helped Balamir and Alpagu kills him. While Vargi is about to attack Akkiz, Temur comes. Akkiz starts looking for her friends thanks to Borte. Vargi cancels the attack and starts chasing them again. Tutkun asks Yaman to tell the truth about Akkiz, but Sirma asks him to keep quiet.

Akkiz finds the Chinese secret base in the forest, but it’s too late to save her friends. Akkiz goes to a tent and finds the hidden message there. Temur says they are wasting time and sets out to go to the palace. When Vargi sees Temur leaving, he starts the attack. While Akkiz is fighting, Temur returns and helps her. Akkiz returns to the cave but hides the truth from Batuga. Batuga says he has to go back to the palace now and prepares to leave. Alpagu returns to the palace after the ceremony and says that Calayir will take Tayangu’s position. Kaya’s spies send a message and say that they still haven’t found Batuga. Alpagu gets very angry with the spies and asks Kaya to kill them. Alpagu goes to Batuga’s room and breaks things.

Ece tries to calm Alpagu but fails. Vargi tells Ece that he could not kill Batuga and Akkiz. Ece asks Vargi to talk to the priest to solve this problem definitively. The priest asks who burned the tents, but Vargi says he knows nothing. Mei tells Vargi that Akkiz is the claw of the two headed wolf. The priest says they will catch Akkiz. Vargi immediately tells Ece what he learned. Ece goes to talk to Alpagu again and tells him that Akkiz is a claw. Alpagu asks Ece to keep this information confidential and never talk about it. Ece does not understand what is going through Alpagu’s mind, but says she will obey his order. Temur returns to the palace with Batuga. First Calayir hugs Batuga and then Alpagu. Akkiz sneaks into the palace and watches Batuga from afar. Saltuk says he saved Batuga from Balamir’s men.

Alpagu says he will punish Balamir as soon as possible. Temur then goes to Mei’s room and asks her to release Akkiz’s friends. The priest says he only kidnapped Tutkun, but Temur continues to blame him. Temur blames China for what happened to Batuga. The priest shows Tutkun’s hair and asks Temur to calm down. After Temur leaves the room, Akkiz comes and asks what she should do to save her friends. The priest asks Akkiz to announce to everyone in the palace that she is a claw. Colpan returns to the tribe and tells Balamir what Alpagu has done. Balamir then talks to Uzdu’s son and provokes him against Alpagu. While Batuga is talking to Kircicek, Alpagu comes. Alpagu tells Batuga that he is very sorry about what happened. Batuga then returns to the secret tunnel in the palace and begins to practice swordsmanship with Akkiz.

Batuga says something is wrong, but Akkiz hides the truth from him. The next morning, the ceremony in the palace begins. All tribal leaders wait for Khan to speak. Alpagu now says that Kaya is officially Yabgu of the west khanate. Batuga secretly leaves the ceremonial hall and goes towards the exit of the tunnel at Akkiz’s request. While Batuga thinks he will save Sirma and Yaman, he sees Akkiz’s message. Akkiz goes to Khan’s room and tells everyone there that she is a claw. Alpagu is very surprised and after a while says that Akkiz should be executed immediately. Batuga realizes that Akkiz will die and starts walking towards the garden of the palace. Batuga arrives when Alpagu is about to order his soldiers to do the execution. Batuga orders the soldiers to untie Akkiz. Ece says that Batuga should die because he lied to Khan. Alpagu goes to his son and cries a little bit. Batuga demands a fair trial and says Akkiz is a witness for his case.
