In Kurulus Osman Episode 69, Rogatus learns that Gregor has escaped and tries to understand why he did it. Rogatus realizes that Osman made a plan before the exchange. Osman meets someone using the secret tunnels. Osman shows this man the piece of wood he took from Gregor and tries to learn something about it. This man says that this board was built from the cross on which Jesus was crucified and that it is very important for all Christians. Osman learns the true power of this small piece of wood and makes a plan. Nikola learns that Gregor, whom he has been looking for all this time, is with Osman. Osman returns to his tent and says that he wants to unite all the people by using Gregor. After a short while, Bala and Malhun start preparing to take the rugs. Rogatus plans to reach Gregor by using the old man in the church once again.
Rogatus then invites the other Lords to dine in his castle. Kosses learns that Gregor has returned to Osman and says he will accept Rogatus’ dinner invitation. Anselmo attacks the convoy on the road to harm the Turks and injures Bala. Kosses then goes to the tribe and asks Osman for Gregor. Osman says that Gregor is an asylum seeker and will never give him back. Bala comes to the tribe seriously injured. Selcan begins to treat Bala. Osman gets very angry and sends Goktug to kill Anselmo. Goktug takes some of the tribe’s soldiers and immediately sets out to set a trap.
Goktug and the soldiers calmly wait for the mercenaries to arrive. Anselmo notices this trap in advance and attacks the Turks. When Anselmo saw that Osman did not come to this attack, he gave up and left the surviving Turks. Selcan manages to save Bala and her baby. Osman is very happy that Bala is still alive. Bahadir goes to the castle to talk to Kosses. Kosses asks Bahadir to kill Gregor and gives him a bag of gold. Goktug returns to the tribe and says that he was unable to kill Anselmo. Osman gets a little angry with Goktug because he can’t avenge Bala and sends him away. Turgut learns that Goktug could not kill Anselmo and says he will handle this alone. Osman talks to Bala again and says he will be very upset if something bad happens to her. After a short time, Sheikh arrives and starts talking to his daughter. Sheikh sees that Bala is in good condition and prays for her for a long time.
Boran goes to Goktug’s tent and tries to improve his morale. The next morning, Osman calls Gregor to his tent and asks him what the small piece of wood in his hand is. Gregor says this piece of wood is something he inherited from his grandfather. Osman continues to speak and says that Rogatus only wants to use Gregor to get stronger. Gregor does not believe Osman and says that Rogatus is always a loyal friend. Then Osman makes a plan to show Gregor the true face of Rogatus and tells him about it. Rogatus summons lords and a governor to his castle. Rogatus says that Osman is trying to break up the Christian unity and offers an alliance to his friends. Rogatus says he fired the Turks working in the mine and that the Governor will end the commercial deals.
To implement Osman’s plan, Gregor goes to the church in Sogut and starts talking to the old man there. Gregor says he will flee soon and asks the old man for help. The governor’s envoy comes to the tribe and says that they will not buy the Turks’ rugs. Mari comes to the tribe and says she wants to buy the rugs. Then Turgut comes. While talking with the merchants in the market, Osman learns that Rogatus fired the Turks working in the mine. Osman realizes that the Byzantine Lords want to harm the Turks’ economy. Osman then returns to his tent and says that they will attack the Byzantine caravans carrying trade goods. The old man in the church reaches Rogatus and tells him that Gregor will soon escape. Rogatus says he will go to the forest to get Gregor and asks Feodor to guard the caravan.
Turgut thanks Osman for helping his tribe in his absence. The next morning, Gregor meets the old man in the forest and begins his search for Rogatus. Bahadir sees Gregor and prepares to kill him, but when he sees Osman, he gives up. Gregor goes to the meeting place and starts talking to Rogatus. Rogatus suddenly starts asking questions about the precious thing in Gregor’s possession. Gregor is very surprised by this and realizes that Rogatus is actually doing everything to gain power. When Rogatus is about to kill Gregor, Osman comes and stops him. Anselmo says he needs more gold to stand up to both Kosses and Rogatus and sets out to attack a caravan. Gregor apologizes to Osman and says he will now work for the Christians in Sogut. Osman immediately takes the priest to Sogut.
Anselmo stops the caravan and attacks them. Turgut suddenly appears and attacks Anselmo, but cannot kill him. While the priest is speaking to the people, Bahadir severely injures him with an arrow. Osman immediately takes Gregor to the lodge to heal him. While Abdal was trying to heal the priest’s wound, one of the soldiers came and informed Osman about a Byzantine caravan. Osman takes all his soldiers and takes action immediately. Before the attack, Osman talks to the Alps and asks them to kill all the Byzantine soldiers. Feodor asks his soldiers to protect the property but realizes that he cannot win against the Turks and starts to run away. Osman chases Feodor and stabs him in the shoulder. When Feodor says he is going to heaven, Osman beheads him. Osman then tells his Alps to take Feodor’s head and takes action to confront the Lords.
