Kurulus Osman Episode 87 Summary
In Kurulus Osman Episode 87, Some people in Sogut take apples from someone. There is a hidden message inside these apples. People who receive this message go to a secret house in Sogut. An old man asks the people who came to this secret meeting to wake up and tells them that they will destroy the Turks soon. Mari’s assistant is also one of the attendees of this secret meeting. Cornelia takes poison from this old man and says that she will poison Mari with it. The old man says that after Mari’s death, Turgut and Gunduz will start fighting. Malhun says she is very sad after her father’s funeral. Osman says that he will always be with Malhun and that he will avenge Umur. Osman then goes to talk to the Sultan and tells him that his previous decision was unfair.
Sultan says that Osman must die. Osman tells Sultan that he will tell all the facts and calls the witnesses to the tent one by one. First, the vizier’s spy, and then Mingiyan, begins to speak. A short time later, Nikola and Kosses arrive. The Lords tell about the agreement Osman made with the Emperor and what he did in the region. Osman goes to the caged tent and prepares to give Geyhatu to the Sultan. Malhun tries to kill Geyhatu, but Osman stops his wife. Sultan says that Osman is completely innocent and gives him the lands in the border area. Osman says that he will win more victories with the soldiers that the Sultan will send. An old man named Ibrahim Fakih goes to the inn in Sogut and says he came from Samarkand. This old man meets with Barkin that night and says they will burn Sogut soon.
The old man says that Cornelia will start the great war. Aisha prepares food for Mari and gives the plate to Cornelia. Cornelia secretly adds poison to the food and puts the empty bottle in Aisha’s tent. Osman calls the soldiers to his tent that night and starts talking about how they will attack Inegol. Akca tells Osman how they can break the walls of Inegol. Cornelia takes the poisoned food to Mari. Gunduz tells how to take the catapults around the castle, but Turgut objects to him. After thinking for a while, Osman accepts Gunduz’s plan. Turgut then returns to his tent and starts talking to Mari. Osman goes to Sogut the next day and talks to the merchants in the market. Meanwhile, Ibrahim goes to the market and talks to a merchant. Mari suddenly falls ill that morning and begins to vomit blood. Turgut panics a lot and immediately tries to take Mari to Abdal.

Mari is very worried about her baby and says she ate the food that Aisha sent. Turgut starts to carry Mari, but she dies shortly after. Osman starts talking to this old man in the market and asks him where he came from. The old man says his name is Ibrahim and starts talking to Osman about religious matters. Kumral Abdal says Mari is dead. Cornelia starts blaming Gunduz, but he objects to her. Osman introduces Sheikh to Ibrahim. Turgut believes what Cornelia says and attacks Gunduz. Ibrahim goes to the inn with Sheikh and starts talking to him. Osman asks Ibrahim to stay in Sogut. Nikola says that Osman is getting stronger and the balance of power is deteriorating at the border, but Kosses objects to his friend. Selcan starts asking questions about why Mari died.
Aisha repeatedly says she is innocent. Osman goes to the castle after a short while and starts talking to Nikola. Osman says that there are too many soldiers in the castle lately, but Nikola says that this is just a simple precaution. While checking Aisha’s tent, Aygul finds the empty bottle. Gunduz says he is innocent. After Abdal checked everything, he tells everyone that Mari was poisoned. Abdal says he found the bottle of poison in Gunduz’s tent. After Turgut hears this, he attacks Gunduz. While the soldiers in the tribe are trying to stop Turgut, Osman comes. Osman asks what is going on. Turgut tells that Gunduz killed Mari and her unborn child. Kosses immediately goes to Mari’s tent and sees his sister’s lifeless body. Kosses apologizes to his sister and says he regrets not being able to protect her.
Selcan says Gunduz would never do such a thing. Osman goes to his tent and asks Selcan what happened in the tribe. Aygul tells Osman what Gunduz had done in the tribe before. Osman says Gunduz is not such a bad person. Selcan goes to talk to Gunduz. Gunduz says he is innocent and will find the person who committed this assassination. Osman realizes that the main purpose of this assassination was to cause trouble before the conquest. Osman says that the conquest movement will continue no matter what and asks his wives to solve this event as soon as possible. Barkin tells Ibrahim what happened in the tribe. Kosses asks Osman to find the criminal as soon as possible. Osman says he is not sure whether Gunduz is guilty or not. Turgut is very surprised to hear this and asks Osman to solve this case.
Ibrahim talks to his spies and asks them to secretly bring gunpowder from apple sacks to the inn. The spies take action to kill the people who will come to the ceremony in the inn and begin to carry the sacks. Turgut goes to the castle for Mari’s funeral and says that he will find the man who killed his wife with Kosses. Selcan tells Aygul that a guest is coming to the tribe and starts to wait. This guest is Aygul’s son. Osman goes to Sogut with his soldiers to attend the ceremony at the inn. Sheikh starts the mastery ceremony. Sheikh gives lots of advice to Akca and asks him to be just. Ibrahim’s spies slowly place sacks of gunpowder all over the inn. Sheikh starts to pray and says that Akca is now a master. Ibrahim and Barkin leave the inn unseen, and then there is a huge explosion in the inn.
