Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 & 8 Review
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 and 8, British soldiers stop Topkapili and his friends while loading the guns on the boats and say they will check their identity. While Topkapili pulled out his gun to avoid revealing, Pandikyan comes and saves them from the soldiers. Husamettin learns from Ali Riza that Sagir wanted to give Mustafa Kemal Pasha money and established a Turkish-Indian charity association. Ali Riza says that Sagir wants to go to Anatolia and give aid to Mustafa Kemal himself. Husamettin does not allow Sagir to pass by as an authority. This situation bothers Ali Riza. Galip sees Nazan on his way to his new job and thanks to her for her help. Salih Pasha understands that Damat Ferit will establish a new government with the support of the British and thinks to resign because he has no solution.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 and 8, Damat Ferit invites Shaykh al-Islam Ibrahim to his mansion. Ferit says that Mustafa Kemal is a fake nationalist and does everything to gain strength. While Ferit says he wants to see him as Shaykh al-Islam in the new government, Ibrahim says that the people trying to save the homeland are not bandits and do not accept the mission. Sagir goes to Ali Riza’s house and gives him all the salaries to be paid to the managers of the association. After Sagir’s insistence, Ali Riza accepts the money and says that he will pay the salaries. Nazan wants to see the house where Galip lives and to meet his family. Although Galip first says no, he then accepts Nazan’s offer. Husamettin tells Topkapili that Sagir wants to go to Ankara and wants to collect information about him. Topkapili Mehmet says he will talk to Pandikyan about this. Galip takes Nazan home and introduces her to his family. It is spoken about Shaykh al-Islam, who will be elected in the Society of the British’s Friends. As Galip and Nazan return, there is a fight between the British soldiers and the people. Then Nazan returns home late, but her family does not like this. Nazan tells her family about the bad things she saw due to the occupation of Istanbul. Fevzi Pasha tells Topkapili that he will go to Ankara and that the weapons of the Ottoman army will be sold at auction. Topkapili says that he will find someone who is not Turkish to buy weapons.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 and 8, Nazan says that she was embarrassed by her family and her eyes are now open. Galip says that if Nazan really wants to serve her homeland, there is something she can do for it. Topkapili talks to Kalchi to participate in the tender. Kalchi says he has a very reliable Italian friend. Later, Topkapili goes out to the street and learns that Damat Ferit is the grand vizier. Meanwhile, Mustafa Kemal Pasha meets Halide Edip and Adnan Bey at the train station. Damat Ferit accuses the Unionists to be followers of being Bolshevik and taking the Ottoman into war. Galip secretly listens to Ferit’s conversations with the new Shaykh al-Islam. Mustafa Kemal and his friends talk about the current state of the people and the new government established by Damat Ferit. Mustafa Kemal says that he will not recognize the new government that Ferit will establish and that the deputies elected by the nation will form the assembly. Galip tells the information he learned in the mansion to Topkapili.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 and 8, Halide Edip proposes to establish an agency to explain the national struggle and traitors to people all over Anatolia. Mustafa Kemal Pasha accepts this offer. Later, a letter from Adapazari says that the secret telegraph center in Istanbul has started working. Topkapili meets Ihsan Bey at the secret telegraph center. Topkapili asks whether weapons arrived or not through Ihsan, but Mustafa Kemal Pasha says that the weapons didn’t arrive. Topkapili continues to speak and tells Mustafa Kemal the names of those who will work in the new government that Ferit will establish. The next day, Ferit talks to journalists about the new government and says that the traitors who worked in the previous government will be finished..
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 and 8, When Mustafa Kemal talks about the establishment of the Anadolu Agency, a message comes up about the latest situation of the Anzavur rebellion. Pandikyan asks Bennett about questions about Sagir, but Bennett says he is not working for the British. Topkapili kills an Armenian agent in order not to be exposed. Bennett tells Colonel Nelson that Sagir can be exposed. Then Nelson orders to switch to plan b. Damat Ferit first visits Robeck and tells them that he will work in harmony with the British. Ferit says that he will use Padishah’s spiritual power against the rebels, and if this is not enough, he will establish a special army to fight the rebels. Robeck says he will support this new organization but not directly. Mustafa Kemal arranges a meeting in Ankara and Adnan Bey tells everyone about the latest situation of Istanbul. Robeck asks the government to firmly reject the national campaign. Damat Ferit accepts this and even says that Shaykh al-Islam will publish a fatwa against the rebels.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 and 8, Damat Ferit says that there are dangerous people around Padishah and those who change his mind must be removed. Mustafa Kemal Pasha says that he has received messages from the secret telegraph center in Istanbul and that bad news has been made about the national struggle in Anatolia. Mustafa Kemal asks Halide to run the agency as soon as possible and to the propaganda of the national campaign. Damat Ferit Pasha tells the members of the Society of the British’s Friends what he spoke with Robeck. Celalettin Arif and Ismet Pasha come to Ankara even if it is late. Topkapili talks to Husamettin, then Pandikyan comes to him and tells that Sagir is not an agent. Celalettin Arif and Mustafa Kemal talk about the new assembly in Ankara. Mustafa Kemal says that the assembly, which will have extraordinary powers, will have legislative and executive powers. Kalchi’s Italian friend wins the tender and gets the guns. Nazan takes the used papers thrown by his father at home and brings them to Galip.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 and 8, Mustafa Kemal gets a little sick and Adnan Bey says he will examine him. Although Mustafa Kemal says he can’t rest now, Adnan Bey says he should rest. Galip tells Topkapili about the information he learned from the papers he received from Nazan. Topkapili tells him to meet Ihsan Bey and that he will convey this information to Ankara. Italian Massimo delivers the weapons purchased in the tender to Topkapili. Ismet Pasha comes back to Ankara and says that more soldiers in Anatolia are participating in the national struggle. Mustafa Kemal reads the new incoming telegram and learns the new army that Damat Ferit will establish while he’s sick. Damat Ferit reads the new announcement published by Mustafa Kemal and learns that he has already heard about the new army to be established. Ferit understands that there are rebels in the telegraph center in Istanbul. Sagir talks to Ali Riza and says he will go to Ankara alone. After Damat Ferit’s warning, British soldiers go to the telegraph center in Istanbul and ask questions about the secret line. Husamettin is arrested because of Osman’s mistake. Mustafa Kemal tells Ismet Pasha about the bad news he has received. Ismet Pasha says that if the assembly will not be opened as soon as possible, Ankara will be in danger.
