Mavera Episode 17 Review

In Mavera Episode 18, Ahmed continues to proceed with Mansur. Mahmud and Pehlivan come to the Sazlik neighborhood and try to help the people there. Mahmud says that they should do something about it as soon as possible. Pehlivan asks him to be calm and says they will talk about Haje. After Mahbube’s death, Leyla leaves Meryem in the plain and returns to Baghdad.

Ahmed sees a man on the road and this man asks for water. This man says his name is Turab and starts talking to Ahmed. Shahsuvar says he will kill Mervan and his friends, but Pehlivan tries to stop him. While Khutluk treats Yalgiz, Akboru talks about his lost son years ago. Pehlivan tells Shahsuvar a story about eagles and calms him down. Shahsuvar drops his sword and tells that he remained silent for the last time. Leyla goes to her home and sees Mahbube’s lifeless body covered in blood.

Atif learns that the caliph has awakened and panics. Turab takes Ahmed and Mansur to a garden full of trees. The owner of the garden is delighted to see them and tells them that they can start working whenever they want. Atif talks to the palace doctor and learns from him how the caliph’s treatment is going. Turab talks about how to care for trees and how to graft trees.

Asife tries to get out of her room with her nanny to secretly give medicine to her father, but the guards won’t let her. Necip goes to a room to give food to Mahmud and hears from them that Haje will not come back. Necip begins to cry. Saltukh stalks Dai and finds his secret base. While Saltukh wanders around the secret base, he falls into a trap and is injured in the foot. Dai hears Saltukh yelling and sends his soldiers. Dai’s soldiers try to find Saltuk by following the traces of blood on the ground. The owner of the garden gives Turab a basketful of fruit for what he does. Turab shares his fruits with Ahmed.

Ahmed asks Turab how he knows so much about agriculture and begins to listen to the story he is telling. While Dai’s soldiers search for Saltukh, he attacks them. Ahmed says he wants to set off again, but Turan tells him to wait a little longer. Meanwhile, a man comes and attacks the owner of the garden. Ahmed calms the man and starts to listen to him. Dai goes back to the secret castle and tells them that the location of his secret base has been revealed. The owner of the garden and the attacker describe the incident they argued. Turab says that there is a disease in the crop and that the animals die because of it. Turab says that both men are guilty and sets off with Ahmed. Pehlivan learns that Leyla has returned to Baghdad and expresses his condolences to her. Pehlivan says that he can protect Leyla in the plain, but she does not want this. Mervan learns that Leyla wants to hold a funeral for Mahbube and opposes it.

Mervan’s assistant goes to Leyla’s house and says that this funeral will not take place. Pehlivan slaps the man. Turab sits by a river and tells Ahmed again a story. That night, everyone works in the Sazlik neighborhood until morning and repairs every destroyed place. Dai sends sacks of flour to Dubeys. Dubeys says they will use these flours to make poisonous bread. The next morning, Haje wakes up and realizes that Turab is gone. Mansur asks what they will do now, but Ahmed says he will not return to Baghdad. Meanwhile, Hemedani comes and tells them that they will go to Baghdad.
