Producer Emre Konuk announced on his personal Twitter account that Fahriye Evcen was included in the cast of Uyanis Buyuk Selcuklu’s second season on July 1. Turkish viewers knew Fahriye Evcen as the wife of Burak Ozcivit, the lead actor of Kurulus Osman. After marrying Burak, Fahriye was away from the screens for a long time. Meanwhile, Fahriye and Burak had a son, and as a mother, she spent most of her time with her son.
Fahriye Evcen has previously acted in very successful TV series and movies in Turkey such as Yaprak Dokumu, Veda, Calikusu, Kurt Seyit and Sura, Evim Sensin, and Sonsuz Ask. Fahriye’s addition to the cast of Uyanis Buyuk Selcuklu’s second season was positively received by all the audience. Fahriye is expected to play the character of Alp Arslan’s wife, Akca Hatun.
