In Kurulus Osman Episode 36, Osman catches Nikola and threatens him using the torch in his hand. Nikola releases Dundar and Savci. Osman’s Alps take the prisoners from the castle, and then Osman frees Nikola. Osman asks Nikola to withdraw his soldiers and then detonates the gunpowder from the barrels. Osman hides in the smoke that emerged after the explosion and leaves the castle after killing some Byzantine soldiers. Flatyos and the soldiers go after Osman to catch him. Osman stops somewhere in the forest and talks about what happened in the castle while treating the wound on Dundar’s hand. Savci is offended because of what Osman said, but Osman invites them to the right path once again. Osman’s Alps set an ambush on Flatyos and do not allow them to search for Osman.

Bala tells that Osman needs an heir and allows him to marry another woman. Osman does not understand this decision, but Bala insists. Targun sees her father in the castle’s dungeon. Nikola says that if Targun does not give the necessary information her father will die, and threatens Targun. As Targun returns from the castle to the plain, Osman stops her.
In Kurulus Osman Episode 36, Targun attacks Osman, but Osman stops her attacks. Osman asks Targun why she was working with Nikola. Targun tells him that her father is a prisoner in Nikola’s dungeon and begins to tell everything. Later, Osman and Targun return to the plain. Bala talks to Selcan and tells her that she will not have children. Hazal tells that Targun will be Osman’s new wife and makes a plan with Lena. Gunduz transmits the message sent by Geyhatu to Osman. Geyhatu orders Osman to make a peace with Nikola. Gunduz says that the meeting will be under Yavlak Arslan’s control and tries to convince Osman about peace. Osman says that Geyhatu will not come to the plain again and agrees to negotiate peace. Osman tells Gunduz that they should eat together that night.

Osman takes his father’s hand and tells him what he will do in the future. Later, Bamsi comes and secretly tells Osman that they are now ready. That night, the Kayi family starts to eat. Osman invites Targun to dinner, and this situation surprises everyone. Nikola learns that Osman will participate in the peace negotiation and asks Flatyos to attack Osman secretly. Osman tells his family that he has thought thoroughly and decided to marry Targun. Bala tells Osman that he made the right decision and supports him. Dundar welcomes Targun and says his good wishes.

Helen tries to stop the soldiers trying to enter the castle, but Boran locks the Byzantium soldiers in a room. Nikola says he can’t take it any longer and becomes more aggressive. Savci and Gunduz sharply warn Nikola again. Thereupon, Nikola mocks the rank of Savci, and Savci attacks him in front of everyone. Goktug kills the soldiers at the gate of the castle and tries to open it. Boran tries to protect Goktug from the castle’s wall, but Byzantine archers wound him with countless arrows. Goktug opens the door with all his might for Osman, and Osman enters with his Alps.
