Kurulus Osman Episode 69 Review
In Kurulus Osman Episode 70, Malhun and Aygul prepare to take the rugs to the castle. Bala says Malhun went to gather information about the castle. Rogatus says the Turks’ trade is almost over and tells the other Lords that they must stay together no matter what. While Nikola and Kosses are celebrating this news, Osman comes to the castle at full speed. Before Osman goes to the castle, he talks to the merchants in Sogut and says he will compensate them no matter what. Sheikh tells Osman to stay calm and begins to wait for the solution he will find. Osman then goes to the castle and presents Feodor’s head to Rogatus. Rogatus realizes that his most loyal soldier is dead and gets very angry. Rogatus tells Osman that he will inflict the same pain. Osman warns the Lords harshly and asks them to stay away from the Turks.
Kosses says that the caravan has already left Damascus and Osman may launch an attack. Nikola says he will protect the caravan himself. Malhun takes the rugs to the castle and tries to talk to Mari. Osman gives the gold he had captured in the previous attack to the Turkish merchants. While Mari is talking to Malhun, Cornelia mentions the caravan. When Malhun returns to the tribe, she talks about the caravan coming from Damascus. Osman thanks Malhun for the information she brought and makes a plan. Rogatus tells that Osman has received something very important from the Priest and offers Nikola to form an alliance. Kosses asks Bahadir to find out why the Priest came back to Osman. Sheikh visits the Priest and gives him some medicines. The priest asks where Osman is.
Sheikh says the pastor is just a guest. That night, Boran sings about Osman to cheer up the soldiers. Meanwhile, Osman prays for a long time and asks Allah for help. The next morning, Turgut and his soldiers come to the Kayi tribe. Turgut says that he brought an important gift for Osman and that he wants to talk to him. While Goktug is talking to Turgut, Osman comes out of his tent. Turgut removes the cover from the cars he brought and shows the dead Catalan soldiers to Osman. Turgut says that the Turks took their revenge. Osman thanks Turgut and gives him a share of the booty. Mari and Kosses argue over Malhun’s visit. Goktug begins to envy Turgut’s success. While Aygul is washing clothes by the river, Cerkutay comes and gives her a flower.
Sheikh tells a story about Jesus and Judah that night. While Mari was hunting in the forest, a snake bit her in the leg. Mari falls to the ground in pain. Turgut hears Mari’s screams and starts looking for her. After this story, Osman talks to the priest and says that he will keep the small piece of wood no matter what. The priest listens to Osman and says he will go to the village in the border area. While Gregor is talking to Andreas later, Bahadir listens to them and learns all the truth about the piece of wood. Turgut treats Mari’s wound and draws out the snake venom. Mari thanks Turgut and returns to her soldiers. Gregor says he will tell the Orthodox people in the village about Osman and sets off after a short while. While Aygul is repairing a tent, Cerkutay comes and says he wants to marry her. Aygul does not accept this offer and walks away.
Kumral Abdal asks Cerkutay not to give up. The priest goes to the village and starts answering the questions of the people there. Gregor first begins to explain why he is staying with Osman and then what an honest man Osman is. Nikola learns that the priest has gone to the village and realizes that Osman knows the route of the caravan. Nikola tells Osman that he will set a trap and takes action. Bahadir goes to the castle and says that a piece of the cross on which Jesus was crucified is in Osman’s hand. Kosses is very surprised to hear this information and gives Bahadir a large bag of gold. Kosses asks Bahadir to bring this small piece of wood. Osman holds a meeting that night and says that they will seize the caravan that will come to the village. Boran tells Goktug that he should not be jealous of Turgut. The next morning, Osman and his soldiers prepare for battle.
Osman first sends Cerkutay to the village and asks him to gather information. Nikola’s soldiers settle all over the village and begin to wait. Gregor tells Andreas that he did everything to gain Osman’s trust. Cerkutay tells Osman that Nikola’s soldiers are everywhere. Osman and the Alps disguise themselves. Osman says that there is a market in the village and that’s why a lot of people will come. Osman continues to explain his plan and asks the Alps to kill the Byzantine soldiers one by one but silently. Later, Osman’s soldiers begin to implement this plan and secretly kill most of the soldiers in the village. A few Byzantine soldiers notice that something is wrong and start chasing Osman. Osman calmly continues to implement his plan and eliminates the small number of Byzantine soldiers in a short time.
Gregor sees everything and goes out to talk to Osman. Osman says that this village now belongs to the Turks and starts talking to the Orthodox people there. Nikola waits on the road to protect the caravan. Osman says that everyone can live freely in this village and cuts the tax in half. Nikola comes to this village with the caravan as if nothing had happened. Osman confronts Nikola and says that this village now belongs to the Turks. Catalan mercenaries emerge from Nikola’s cars and a war begins. Turgut comes out of his hiding place and starts helping Osman. Nikola says he will kill Osman and tries to take back the village. Osman kills most of Nikola’s soldiers. Nikola realizes that he cannot win the war and flees from there. Osman prays to Allah after the war.
