Kurulus Osman Episode 71 Review
In Kurulus Osman Episode 72, Osman suddenly starts coughing while eating with the new governor. Then everyone in the room coughs like Osman and gets sick. Malhun takes the antidote from her bag and gives it to Osman first and then to everyone. Osman wakes up after a short time and says that no one can leave this room. The woman who works for Nikola realizes that she will be caught and immediately commits suicide. Julia takes action to kill Orhan, but Bala tries to stop her. While Selcan and Gunduz are wandering around the tribe, they realize that something is wrong in Osman’s tent. Gunduz tries to enter the tent with the soldiers, and Julia escapes, but cannot take Gregor’s sacred item. Bala then immediately tries to help Gonca. Selcan tries to heal Gonca’s wound.
Shortly after, Abdal comes and says that Gonca was poisoned. While Nikola tells Kosses that he no longer trusts Gregor, Nestor says Julia has failed. Kosses sends a secret message to Gregor. The next day, the governor thanks Osman for saving his life and says that the commercial agreement he made with him is now alive. While Rogatus is talking to some Christian children, Julia arrives. Rogatus says he wants to kidnap Turkish children and raise them as Christian Byzantine soldiers. Gonca’s health is getting worse and worse. Osman and his soldiers come to the tribe. Osman learns what happened and gets very angry. Boran immediately goes to the tent and tries to talk to Gonca. Bala apologizes for all that happened. Julia dresses like a Turk and starts kidnapping children with her soldiers.
While Julia is going to the castle, Ahmed jumps out of the car and starts running through the forest. Malhun suspects Gokce’s behavior and asks Bahadir to follow her. Osman learns that the children are missing and thinks that someone has kidnapped them. Osman asks the Alps to get ready immediately and sends them to look for the traces of the children. Julia catches Ahmed in the forest and then sets off for the castle. Ahmed secretly throws his shoes from the car onto the road. Gregor learns that the Lords have united and will soon get gunpowder. While Goktug is looking for the children, he sees Kosses’ assistant Nestor and kills him in an alley. Cerkutay finds Ahmed’s shoes on the way to Bilecik and immediately returns to the tribe. Turkish children try to support each other in the dungeon of the castle and think that Osman will come to save them. Kosses tells the priest that he will send barrels of gunpowder, while Rogatus tells his friends that he has kidnapped Turkish children.
Nikola is very happy with this news and congratulates Rogatus. Boran tries to help Gonca, but her condition worsens. Later, Bala comes and tries to talk to Gonca again. Cerkutay tells Osman that he found Ahmed’s shoes on the way to Bilecik. Osman realizes that the children are in the castle and immediately makes a plan to get them back. Turgut goes to the castle and learns that now he has to protect all Lords’ caravans. Meanwhile, Osman comes to the castle and sees Turgut. Osman says he will take the Turkish children no matter what and threatens Rogatus. Gonca realizes that she will die and talks to Boran for the last time. Gonca dies shortly after. Everyone in the tribe is very upset with Gonca’s death. When Osman returns to the tribe, he sees the crying people and immediately goes to his tent.
Osman hugs Boran and says he will avenge Gonca no matter what. The Turkish children in the dungeon get very cold that night and hug each other for warmth. Julia goes to the dungeon and makes fun of the kids. Julia then closes the children’s eyes and takes them to a room in the castle. Rogatus welcomes the children and asks them to open their eyes. Rogatus says that all the food on the table is prepared for the children and asks them to eat. The children say that they are Muslims, and that is why they will not eat pork. Rogatus remains calm and says that in time the children will become Christians. Abdal goes to Boran’s tent and begins to tell about some events that happened to the prophet to comfort him. Osman says it is not right for Turgut to work for the Lords, and that’s why they will attack him.
Rogatus learns that Nestor was killed and sends gunpowder to the priest to take revenge on the Turks. Boran goes to Gonca’s grave and says he will take revenge on the one who killed her no matter what. Boran then goes to the forest at full speed and tells Osman that he wants to fight. Osman first wants Boran to return, but when he insists, he includes him in his army. Osman stops Turgut with his soldiers. Turgut asks Osman not to attack the caravan he is protecting. Osman once again tells Turgut that it is wrong to work with Byzantium and attacks him. This fight is actually Osman’s plan to take the children in the castle. In order to gain the trust of the Lords, Turgut gets injured in this war on purpose and goes to the castle to open the secret passage to Osman. Julia continues to make fun of the children and says she will take them to a monastery soon.
Turgut goes to the castle and says that he kept his promise, but after a short time, he faints. Mari takes Turgut to a room in the castle to treat his wound. Nikola wants the Turkish children to go to the monastery as soon as possible and is very excited about it. Osman and his soldiers disguise and head towards the secret passage to enter the castle. After talking with Mari for a while, Turgut starts to wander around the castle silently. Julia takes action to take the children to the monastery. Turgut opens the gate of the passage, and Osman enters. Osman asks Turgut to go back to his room and goes to the dungeon. Osman cannot find the Turkish children in the dungeon and starts to look for them in the castle. Rogatus catches Turgut red-handed and puts his knife in his throat. Byzantine soldiers suddenly surround Osman and stop him.
