Kurulus Osman Episode 89 Summary
In Kurulus Osman Episode 89, Osman attacks Arius to avenge Ivaz. A short time later, Boran and Barkin come to the forest. Barkin thinks Arius will die and starts to worry. Osman defeats Arius and says he will kill him. As Osman is about to kill Arius with his sword, Nikola comes with his soldiers. Nikola says he will not let his master die. Arius uses this opportunity and begins to flee. While the Alps are fighting the Byzantine soldiers, Osman begins to follow Arius. Bala says Sheikh was poisoned and calls Abdal. Abdal checks Sheikh’s food and says it is poisonous. Bala remembers that Cornelia brought this dish and asks the soldiers to bring her. Osman attacks Arius again. Barkin goes to Arius before Osman and helps him escape.
Osman gets very angry with Barkin. Bala begins to question Zehra and Cornelia, but cannot learn anything from them. Bala then sends the girls and asks Aygul to follow them secretly. Arius returns to the castle and tells that he still does not trust Kosses. Osman sees the Byzantine soldiers using arrows belonging to Kosses and realizes that there is a secret enemy. Arius says he will leave Osman alone and sends two chests of gold to Barkin. Osman goes to Kosses’ castle and starts talking to him about the arrows he found in the forest. Osman says he will find the man who accused Gunduz soon and tells Turgut about his plan. Ibrahim Fakih goes to the dervish lodge and asks how the Sheikh is doing. Ibrahim sees that Kumral is preparing an antidote and says he will help him.
Selvi is very upset after her father’s death and blames Barkin. Barkin says that he has done everything he can and that he will marry Selvi soon. Sheikh drinks the antidote made by Ibrahim and soon opens his eyes. Kumral and Bala thank to Ibrahim many times. Osman returns to the tribe and learns that Barkin has taken two chests of gold from someone. Osman then holds a meeting with the Beys. Some Beys are very disturbed by recent events. Osman says he will find out who blew up the inn soon, but Turgut objects to him. Osman asks Turgut to leave the tribe. Cornelia sneaks out and meets with Arius. Cornelia asks him why he saved Sheikh. Arius says he saved Sheikh’s life to gain the trust of the Turks. Arius tells Cornelia about his new plan.
Osman learns what happened in Inhisar from Konur. Cornelia tells Barkin that she gave Malhun a medicine to sleep for a long time. Cornelia secretly adds poison to her own food and goes to Selcan. Cornelia starts vomiting soon after. Selcan and Bala try to save Cornelia’s life. Sheikh talks to those who come to the dervish lodge that night about how to be a good Muslim. Cerkutay returns to his tent and sees a boy there. Cerkutay does not understand that this child is Kayi and begins to eat with him. Kosses goes to Nikola’s castle and starts talking to Mateus. Kosses says he will support Inhisar against Turks. Osman then goes to a cave and talks to his allies there. Osman learns that the Byzantine Emperor will soon send many soldiers to Inegol. Kosses says that if they take Inhisar, they will leave Nikola in a difficult situation.
Bala thinks Zehra is guilty and orders her to be arrested. Ibrahim goes to the tribe that night and learns that Cornelia has been poisoned. Once again, Ibrahim makes an antidote and saves Cornelia’s life. Barkin has a secret meeting with some Beys at the inn and gives them two chests of gold. Selcan begins to suspect Ibrahim more and more. Osman thanks Ibrahim for what he did and asks him to stay in the tribe that night. Bala says she is suspicious of Ibrahim and Cornelia. Osman tells Selcan that Gunduz is still alive at the castle. The next day, Ibrahim talks to Barkin for a long time and tells him what to do to gain power. Osman sets out with his soldiers to attack Inhisar. Barkin then holds a meeting with the Beys in the tribe and says he wants to be the new Bey. Some of the attendees object to Barkin.
Turgut goes to Inhisar with Kosses. Mateus says that Nikola will come soon and continues to wait. Nikola says that the support sent by the Emperor will come soon and plans an attack. Ibrahim marries Barkin and Selvi. Osman attacks Inhisar and says Mateus is a bad ruler. Osman says that this castle now belongs to the Turks and asks Turgut to hang the flags. Osman says that the next target is Inegol and continues to implement his plan. Cornelia secretly talks to Arius and tells him that Selcan is starting to suspect something. Osman realizes that Barkin is trying to take the place of Umur and Ivaz. Malhun gets angry because she wasn’t invited to this meeting. Arius secretly talks to Barkin again and says that he will become stronger thanks to this marriage.
Arius and Barkin learn that Turgut has taken Inhisar. Arius says he will never let his plan be ruined. Nikola goes to Inhisar that night and says he wants to make a deal with Turgut. Kosses asks Turgut to calm down and begins to listen to Nikola’s proposal. Nikola says that he will allow Turgut to trade in Inegol and Harmankaya, and he wants Inhisar in return. Malhun says that what Barkin did was wrong during the meal. Barkin says he is innocent and respects Beys’ decision. Ibrahim says it is wrong for Turgut to act without permission. Osman says it’s time to stop Turgut. Cornelia takes her dagger to kill Selcan, but meanwhile, someone else enters the tent. While Selcan is praying, this man stabs her. Selcan goes to Osman’s tent in an injured state and asks him for help. Osman asks Selcan who did this and says he will find the attacker immediately.
