Barbaros Hayreddin Episode Summary
In Barbaros Hayreddin Episode 12, Hayreddin learns that Seyyare will soon marry Kemankes and gets very angry. Dervish tries to calm Hayreddin but fails. Hayreddin asks his soldiers to get information about the cannons stolen from the army and says he will stop Seyyare. Luna says she doesn’t trust Sahsuvar and starts asking her questions. Sahsuvar tells how she worked with Luna’s father before and says that she is a reliable woman. Doctors check Yahya and Cafer. Luna questions about the heavy artillery in Suleiman’s army. Sahsuvar says that these cannons are in Kemankes and he will help soon. Luna cannot understand this situation. Sahsuvar tells that Kemankes will help Luna soon. Luna tells that she trusts Sahsuvar and asks her to act immediately.
Charles still thinks Batista is a traitor, but the Pope calms him down. The king then goes to talk to Lomelino and asks him about the attack on the palace. Lomelino says he doesn’t remember anything and Batista will never do anything bad. Hayreddin takes action to talk to Seyyare, but when he sees the soldiers on the streets of the city, he changes his mind. A man sees Hayreddin and takes him to a house. This man says he is Yahya’s friend and asks Hayreddin to be patient. Sahsuvar calms Sukufe and tells her that she will marry Kemankes soon. When Kemankes is about to marry Seyyare, Hayreddin comes and stops the marriage. When Seyyare sees Hayreddin, she panics and says she will tell him everything. Murat comes running and says that Yahya was poisoned. Kemankes calms Hayreddin and asks him to leave the building using the back door.
Luna says she will save her family by gaining more power. Hayreddin’s family goes to the hospital and tries to talk to Yahya. Kemankes says that someone sent poisoned food to the dungeon. One of the doctors secretly talks to Cafer and asks him to tell only what he knows in court. Kemankes says he will protect Cafer from now on. Aydin catches Orsini and takes him to Hayreddin. Hayreddin starts asking questions about the lumbers stolen from the shipyard. Orsini says he bought the logs from Kemankes, but he doesn’t know anything about army cannons. Yareli cuts off Orsini’s hand to punish him. Charles realizes that Batista is innocent and releases him. Batista immediately goes to talk to Lomelino and asks him what is going on. Lomelino begins to tell all the facts and says that the Medici is the son of the Pope.
Batista says that they should immediately convey this news to Barbaros and begins to make a plan. Murat then goes to talk to Orsini and tells him that Barbarossa is in Payitaht. Orsini realizes that Barbarossa is trying to find the army cannons and asks Murat to inform Doria immediately. Hayreddin says he needs to check the garrisons to find the stolen cannons and prepares to talk secretly with Hunkar. Doria tells Charles that someone is trying to steal the Ottoman cannons. Charles says he will attack France with these cannons and sends Doria to Payitaht with Christopher. Orsini then talks to Luzatto and tells him that Barbarossa knows everything. Luzatto asks Orsini to go to court. Seyyare says she wants to marry Kemankes later and postpones the wedding. Kemankes says he will keep his promise to Seyyare no matter what. Barbarossa secretly goes to the palace that night.
The soldiers in the palace stop Hayreddin. Barbarossa says he will not fight the soldiers and surrenders. Sultan Suleiman learns what happened in the palace and asks his soldiers to bring Barbarossa. Dervish and Yahya inform the Sultan. Suleiman says he trusts Barbaros and allows him to sneak into the garrisons. Halime talks to Kemankes once more, but cannot convince him. Hayreddin starts to secretly search for stolen cannons with his friends. Charles calls Batista and tells him how to secretly attack France to show him that he trusts him. Kemankes visits Ayaz and asks him to let Sahsuvar go to court. Ayaz refuses this offer once again, but the soldiers say they will take Sahsuvar. Luna learns that Orsini is going to court and thinks her plan is working. Cafer says that Sahsuvar wants to harm Seyyare, but the judge does not accept this.
Orsini arrives as Kemankes tries to figure out what’s going on. Orsini says that Kemankes is selling the state’s timbers. Sahsuvar shows the documents in her hand and the judge orders Kemankes to be arrested. Luzatto blows up the harbor to make Luna’s plan work. Luna sees Barbarossa coming to the port and stops him. Hunkar learns that Kemankes has been arrested and asks Ayaz to reveal all the facts. Luna says she misses Barbarossa very much. Hayreddin says he needs to help the state and continues to search for army cannons. Seyyare is very upset about Kemankes’ arrest. While talking to the Pope in the courtyard of the palace, Charles sees Batista fighting with Lomelino. Batista says Lomelino is a traitor and throws him from the wall. Charles thinks Lomelino is Barbarossa’s spy.
Hayreddin goes home after a long time and has dinner with his family. Ayaz goes to the dungeon and asks Kemankes to tell him everything. Kemankes says he was selling the timbers to quickly buy a ship that could carry heavy artillery. Ayaz believes Kemankes and says he will control this ship. Sahsuvar says that Kemankes is in the dungeon, but they will use another ship to get the heavy artillery. Luna says she will secretly explode the ship Kemankes bought. Hayreddin also goes to the dungeon and asks Kemankes to tell him everything. Kemankes realizes that Barbaros knows everything and begins to lie to him. Together with his friends, Hayreddin begins to search for the ship Kemankes bought. Sahsuvar talks to Kemankes and tells him about Luna’s plan. Kemankes begins to think that he will soon be free and even become the grand vizier. Luzatto blows up Kemankes’ ship and retrieves the cannons using another ship. Barbaros realizes that someone stole the cannons and starts chasing the ship.
